Job summary

SMC Repairs & Maintenance is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead in the Philippines to oversee preventive, corrective, and activity-based maintenance across the plant. You will plan and schedule maintenance work, supervise teams, and maintain comprehensive records to support operations and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, and strong leadership and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, corrective, and activity-based maintenance.
• Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and work order management.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance systems (bearings, chains, belts, gearboxes, etc.).
• Familiarity with permit processing and compliance documentation.
• BOSH Certification is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the execution of preventive, corrective, and activity-based maintenance activities.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor maintenance work to ensure timely completion and compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Supervise maintenance personnel and coordinate daily maintenance operations.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support plant operations.
• Ensure proper utilization of maintenance tools, equipment, and resources.
• Support audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and permit processing.
• Monitor maintenance costs and assist in budget control initiatives.
• Perform administrative duties related to maintenance operations and continuous improvement programs.
