We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager for our Cebu facility. This is a full-time position based in Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines. As Plant Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of manufacturing operations at our facility. You will oversee production planning, quality assurance, maintenance, safety compliance and workforce management, ensuring the plant operates at peak efficiency whilst maintaining the highest standards of product quality and workplace safety. This is a strategically important role that directly impacts our operational performance and market competitiveness.
Lead and manage all production operations, including scheduling, capacity planning and output targets to meet customer demand and business objectives
Oversee quality assurance processes and implement corrective actions to ensure products meet company standards and regulatory requirements
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency
Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies, ensuring full compliance with applicable legislation and industry best practices
Recruit, train, supervise and develop plant personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement
Monitor production costs, budgets and resource allocation, identifying opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality or safety
Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
Liaise with supply chain, logistics and commercial teams to ensure seamless coordination and on-time delivery of products
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives
Report on key performance indicators and operational metrics to senior management
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing plant management, preferably in the beverage, food production or FMCG sector
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale production facilities with significant budgets and diverse workforces
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning and inventory management
Expertise in quality assurance, food safety standards (such as FSMA, ISO 22000 or equivalent) and regulatory compliance
Demonstrated experience in implementing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
Proficiency in health and safety management, including OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001 standards
Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in data analysis and KPI tracking
Proficiency in manufacturing software systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Bisaya or Filipino is advantageous
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management or a related discipline; additional qualifications in operations management are preferred
