Job summary

Our Clients in Cebu is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead end-to-end production operations on-site in Danao, Cebu, on dayshift. You will plan, schedule, and direct processes to ensure on-time delivery and high quality.

This role requires strong staff leadership, safety and compliance with SOPs, and driving continuous improvements. A Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or Engineering with at least 5 years in a managerial role in a food manufacturing plant is required, with 3+ years in plant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in a food manufacturing plant.
• At least 3 years of plant operations management experience in a multinational or local company.
• Proficiency with production management software, ERP systems, and manufacturing machinery.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and direct production processes to ensure on-time delivery and uphold high quality standards.
• Hire, train, mentor, and supervise production staff, handling performance management and shift scheduling.
• Ensure the production floor adheres to SOPs, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all machinery is functional, repaired, and calibrated.
• Deliver regular production reports, quality metrics, and budget updates to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Management: Plan, schedule, and direct production processes to ensure on-time delivery and uphold high quality standards.
• Staff Leadership: Hire, train, mentor, and supervise production staff, handling performance management and shift scheduling.

• Operational Efficiency: Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to maximize productivity and minimize operational costs.
• Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all machinery is functional, repaired, and properly calibrated.
• Reporting: Deliver regular production reports, quality metrics, and budget updates directly to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent field (Master's Degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial capacity within a food manufacturing plant, featuring in-depth experience in end-to-end production operations management.
• At least 3 years of plant operations management experience in a top multinational or local company.
• Strong proficiency with production management software, ERP systems, and manufacturing machinery.
• Practical knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision‑making skills with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work onsite in Danao, Cebu.
