Job summary

QUAD-R Building Solutions seeks an Assistant Supervisor-Plant Management to oversee batching plant operations, maintenance, and reliability. You will coordinate repairs, supervise technicians, manage spare parts, and ensure adherence to safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring a background in mechanical/electrical/industrial engineering, with experience in plant maintenance, troubleshooting, and strong leadership and communication skills. Willingness to respond to breakdowns is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering is advantageous.
• Licensed Engineer is advantageous.
• NC II Certification in Mechanical Maintenance or related fields.
• Minimum four years of relevant experience in batching plant or similar maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of batching plant equipment.
• Ability to supervise maintenance personnel while performing hands-on work.
• Proficient in maintenance planning, reporting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operation and maintenance activities of the batching plant.
• Plan, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Assign and monitor maintenance work activities of mechanics, electricians, and plant operators.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and according to procedures.
• Monitor plant performance and equipment utilization to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate with production, operations, and management regarding equipment status and schedules.
• Prepare maintenance reports and downtime reports.
• Monitor inventory level of spare parts, lubricants, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Recommend equipment upgrades and process improvements to increase reliability and productivity.
