Job summary

AsiaPeopleSearch Inc. is seeking a Finance Plant Manager to lead the plant's financial operations, including monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. You will partner with plant management to drive financial performance and ensure compliance with accounting standards across the organisation.

The role requires strong ERP experience, cost accounting expertise, and leadership to develop the plant finance team while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, MS Dynamics, or similar).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MYOB, and financial analysis tools.
• Strong cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and inventory management background.
• 5-8 years in Finance & Accounting, manufacturing/FMCG preferred.
• At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analyses at the plant level.
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs including materials, labor and overhead.
• Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate recording of plant transactions and compliance with standards.
• Partner with plant management to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve margins.
• Review product costing and drive profitability improvements.
• Manage annual budgeting and forecasting process for the plant.
• Support audits and timely resolution of findings.
• Monitor capital expenditures and evaluate project feasibility.
• Lead and develop the plant finance team and drive continuous improvement.
