Job summary

Amcor Philippines is seeking a qualified finance professional to oversee accounting operations in Santo Tomas. The role focuses on accruals, depreciation, CAPEX, fixed assets, and month-end close, ensuring IFRS compliance and alignment with tax requirements.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance, 3+ years in management and operations accounting, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in management and operations accounting.
• Proactive with leadership experience and strong initiative.
• Excellent financial skills, ability to analyse information and report.
• Well versed in IFRS and Philippine tax laws; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly accrual entries.
• Record and monitor CAPEX budgets, depreciation, and fixed assets.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels and cost improvement initiatives.
• Lead monthly inventory activities and backflush entries.
• Support monthly close, variance analysis, and forecasts.
• Collaborate with operations and other departments to improve processes.
