Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila (Philippines) is seeking a Plant Engineer to oversee testing and quality control of LV/MV switchgear, drive documentation and compliance, and coordinate with contractors.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years of related experience, and strong CAD/Excel skills with good communication. PRC license is a plus and direct-hire opportunities exist with paid training and promotions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in the related field.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• PRC license is an advantage.
• Required skills: CAD, Microsoft Excel, Word.

Responsibilities

• Pre and Post checking of LV/MV switchgear panels including visual, mechanical, and functional testing.
• Test circuit breakers, switchgear, and motor control centers.
• Control the quality of design, material, equipment, and installation.
• Check drawings and documents used for approvals and compliance with project requirements.
• Assist employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manual and procedures; collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain quality of all systems.
• Analyze all products and non-conformance processes and evaluate all documents to ensure maintenance of quality; prepare monthly reports to evaluate performance.
• Monitor and record project activities and analyze all processes to ensure work according to quality requirements.
• Manage all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards; monitor continuous application and recommend corrective actions for all processes.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as needed.

Job Description
