Job summary

DMCI is seeking a seasoned Project Controls professional to lead planning, scheduling, and cost control for large-scale projects in Metro Manila. The role requires a licensed engineer and at least 15 years in the industry, with 10+ years in senior planning/ Scheduling roles using Primavera P6.

You will develop and maintain schedules, oversee cost forecasts, and coordinate with subcontractors and clients to ensure on-time delivery and strong financial performance.

Qualifications

• Licensed engineer eligibility.
• 15+ years in industry with 10+ years as Senior Planner/Scheduler or Planning Manager using Primavera P6.
• Strong planning, scheduling, cost and change-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Controls activities: planning, schedule development, forecasting, cost, trends and claims.
• Develop, review EPS/WBS, milestones, and interface with DMCI and clients.
• Define scope for Tender & Execution work and manage critical-path activities.
• Identify significant inter-discipline activities and dependencies.
• Review Earned Revenue data, project financials, and billing/status reports.
• Develop cost estimates, unit man-hour data and pricing for disciplines.
• Monitor schedule deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Create dashboards and installation curves; ensure quantity accuracy.
• Coordinate subcontractor/vendor interface and project control trainings.
• Prepare weekly accomplishment reports and monthly status reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the Project Controls Plan for assigned project/program. Provides leadership in terms of Project Controls activities such as Planning, Schedule Development, Change Management, Forecasting, Cost, Trends, and Claims. Provides leadership and guidance for the analysis of cost & planning efforts / reports.
• Thorough knowledge in Programme Development, identify Contract Relief clause on the Project. Develop, Checks, reviews, and EPS/WBS, project milestone, access dates and interface.
• Determines scope definition requirements of scope and other specialty items and can handle both Tender & Execution work.
• Determines critical-path activities for assigned discipline or specialties and identifies significant activities supporting inter discipline requirements.
• Reviews and approves Earned Revenue Determination Data, Proposal Financial Summaries, Project Financial Status Reports, and Charge for Project Working Capital calculations for assigned project/program.
• Performs, or coordinates the performance of, pricing structure development and application to takeoffs, derived quantities, quantity assumption, and cost allowances within a discipline.
• Assists in developing unit man-hour and pricing data for a specific discipline or other specialty, including estimating parameters, factors, indices, productivity and craft distribution.
• Knowledge in capital cost and services estimating, demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to cost problems.
• Able to manage interface of subcontractor or vendors work.
• Prepares of weekly Accomplishment Reports to owner.
• Prepares, coordinates, and directs Project Controls presentations to DMCI and client management, as required. Participates in the development and training of assigned personnel and the implementation of on-the-job and classroom training programs.
• Prepares various monthly reports to main office not limited to accounting requirements, man-hour report, contract status, billing and collection status and revenue projection.
• Monitors schedule deviation for assigned disciplines or specialties and recommends corrective action/workaround solutions for project considerations.
• Reviews and evaluates of performance reports like cost report and audit reports
• Develops quality dashboard, reports or installation curves for assigned disciplines or specialties; reviews and evaluates quantity records to ensure total quantities are represented for a particular discipline or specialty.
• Develops required job hour expenditure for assigned disciplines or specialties; assists in determining leveling decisions; performs quantity and manpower resource loading for assigned schedules.
• Performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning & cost engineering functions, which include planning reports, cost control and cost analysis, at site.
• Able to generate Schedule Delay Analysis, Delay Log & Notification.
