Job summary

Sta. Clara International Corp. is seeking a Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and update detailed project plans and schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.

You will identify milestones, critical paths, and deliverables while coordinating with project managers to define tasks, resources, and timelines. The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, a relevant engineering degree, and knowledge of Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• License is an advantage.
• With at least 2-5 years of relevant experience as Planning Engineer.
• With knowledge on Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update detailed project plans and schedules using project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
• Identify project milestones, critical paths, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with project managers and teams to define tasks, resources, and timelines.
• Assess and allocate resources (e.g., manpower, materials, equipment) effectively to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Identify any resource bottlenecks or conflicts and propose solutions.
• Assist in estimating project costs and developing budgets.
• Monitor project expenses to ensure alignment with the budget and recommend corrective actions if needed.
• Track project progress against the schedule and budget.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to management, stakeholders, and clients.
• Identify potential delays or risks and suggest mitigation plans.
• Identify and analyze project risks that could impact timelines or costs.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
