Job summary

Avaloq Philippines Inc. is hiring a Software Engineer to join our global team. You will deliver end-to-end solutions within the Avaloq Digital Platforms with focus on the core system, applying banking and wealth-management knowledge with your technical skills.

You will design, develop, and document thoughtful solutions, improve existing functionalities, and collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other developers in an agile environment to deliver value to our customers.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science or equivalent.
• At least four years of work experience as a software developer.
• Knowledge in Oracle database architecture and PL/SQL.
• Excellent analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem solving.
• Able to dive into complex problems, refactor and optimize existing code.
• Willingness to learn Avaloq Script (PL/SQL based).
• Very good knowledge of English (C1 level).
• Banking knowhow is an advantage but not required.
• Experience in one or more high level programming language is a plus.
• Avaloq Certification is a plus.

• Design, develop, and document thought-out solutions within the team’s responsibility addressing customer requirements.
• Improve and optimize existing functionalities.
• Closely collaborate with the product owner, business analysts and other developers.
• Work in an agile environment, helping us to improve our processes and deliver projects to our customers.
