Job summary

Rising Tide Digital, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Programmer Analyst with strong Oracle PL/SQL and E-Business Suite experience to develop and maintain medium complexity applications. You will collaborate with the Business Analyst, document designs, and ensure delivery per standards.

Responsibilities include testing, deployment, production support, and knowledge transfer as SME. Proficiency in SQL Developer, UNIX/Linux, and web tech (PHP/MySQL) is expected, along with SDLC adherence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of PL/SQL in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
• Experience with SQL Developer, UNIX, and monitoring databases.
• Experience with UC4 AppworX and ODI; reports with SSRS.
• Web development experience using PHP, MySQL, CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop simple to medium complexity application design, programs and facilities per specs.
• Provide high level assessment for change requirements and prepare impact documents.
• Collaborate with Business Analyst to design inputs and estimates.
• Document system design and program specifications in technical design document.
• Write programs and codes based on approved design.
• Develop prototypes as needed.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure performance at unit level.
• Coordinate with vendor or investigate and resolve SIT/UAT errors.
• Maintain production systems and deploy enhancements as needed.
• Comply with software development lifecycle standards.
• Create summaries/reports for leads and communicate change requests to clients.
• Create deployment manuals and conduct production deployments.
• Provide knowledge transfer as SME of the system.
• Analyze, modify and develop PL/SQL packages on change requests.
• Provide technical support for E-Business Suite inquiries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Programmer Analyst is responsible for the development of simple to medium complexity application design, programs and related facilities according to approved business specifications, regulatory and company standards.

• Provides high level assessment for application system change requirements and technical inputs for user requirements during the preparation of impact document and business case documents

• Collaborates with the Business Analyst to provide design inputs and estimates in the preparation of requirements document.

• Documents system design and program specification in technical design document.

• Writes programs and codes based on approved technical design document.

• Develop prototypes as needed

• Conducts unit testing on written codes to ensure program perform per design at the unit level.

• Coordinates with vendor or conducts own investigation and resolution of errors reported during SIT and UAT.

• Maintain the systems once they are up and running in production, and perform production fixes or application enhancements as needed.

• Performs the above function in compliance with software development lifecycle standards of the company.

• Creating summaries or reports that can be used by the leads during presentations.

• Communicating with the client regarding changes request and sub-leading in supporting applications.

• Creating Deployment manuals and conduct actual deployment in Production Environment.

• Providing support and conduct Knowledge Transfer to other members as an SME of the system.

• Analyzing, Modifying and developing existing PL/SQL packages based on change requests.

• Handling and providing technical support and respond to inquiries about E-Business Suite System.

• Creating and executing Unit tests and System tests for the Programs developed.
