Job summary

EMBLUJU INC. is seeking a seasoned Kitchen Leader to manage daily kitchen operations at Rockwell Power Plant Mall, Makati City. The role requires hands-on leadership, pizza expertise, and strong dispatch coordination to ensure high-quality output during peak hours.

The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years in pizza service, excellent team management, and a track record of maintaining food safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment. Shift work and holidays are included.

Qualifications

• College graduate or equivalent educational background.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in a pizza restaurant or similar operation.
• Basic knowledge and hands-on skills in pizza dough stretching.
• Knowledgeable in pizza topping, portioning, and proper food preparation.
• Experience in key kitchen station management and manning.
• Skilled in order dispatch and kitchen-to-front-of-house coordination.
• Experience as a Dispatch Leader or similar kitchen leadership role.
• Experience in inventory monitoring, stock management, and ordering.
• Can assist in staff scheduling and manpower planning.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Able to maintain quality, food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen standards.
• Can work efficiently and calmly during peak hours and high-volume operations.
• Has a good employment record and positive work history.
• Demonstrates maturity, responsibility, discipline, and professionalism.
• Has a pleasing personality and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the kitchen team during daily operations.
• Ensure proper execution of pizza preparation, dough stretching, topping, cooking, and plating.
• Manage kitchen stations and ensure proper manpower deployment.
• Lead the dispatch process to ensure orders are complete, accurate, and released on time.
• Monitor ticket times and coordinate with the service team during peak hours.
• Ensure consistent product quality, portioning, and presentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock ordering and replenishment.
• Assist in preparing staff schedules and managing daily manpower requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, food safety, and overall kitchen standards.
• Train, guide, and coach kitchen team members.
• Handle operational concerns and help resolve issues quickly and professionally.
• Ensure the kitchen is properly prepared before opening and properly closed after operations.
• Support the Restaurant Manager/Management Team in achieving operational and service targets.
