Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced piping isometrics reviewer for an Oil & Gas EPC project based in Metro Manila, Philippines. The role focuses on detailed checks of piping isometrics, ensuring alignment with project specifications, codes, and Shell DEP requirements where applicable.

The candidate will verify dimensions, interfaces, and material selections, and ensure consistency with P&IDs, 3D models, and other deliverables.

• Able to perform detailed checks of piping isometric drawings.
• Experience aligning isometrics with Shell DEP where applicable.
• Strong QA mindset for major Oil & Gas EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed checks of piping isometric drawings for an Oil & Gas facility.
• Verify compliance with project specs, piping material classes, engineering standards and applicable codes.
• Validate dimensions, elevations, coordinates, interfaces, supports, insulation and painting requirements, and material selections.
• Ensure consistency between isometrics and related deliverables (P&IDs, 3D Models, Line Lists, Plot Plans, Equipment Layout Drawings, Material Specifications).
• Review Material Take-Off (MTO) quantities for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and document drawing discrepancies, non-conformances, and quality issues prior to issuance.
• Ensure compliance with client standards and Shell DEP requirements where applicable.
• Support project quality objectives by maintaining high drawing accuracy and compliance.

About the Client

Our client is a globally recognized engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) organization with a strong presence in large-scale energy and industrial projects. Contract Duration: 11 months

Experience: 15 years preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed checks of piping isometric drawings for an Oil & Gas facility.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, piping material classes, engineering standards, and applicable codes.
• Validate dimensions, elevations, coordinates, interfaces, supports, insulation and painting requirements, and material selections.
• Ensure consistency between piping isometric drawings and related engineering deliverables, including:
  • P&IDs
  • 3D Models
  • Line Lists
  • Plot Plans
  • Equipment Layout Drawings
  • Material Specifications
• Review Material Take-Off (MTO) quantities for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and document drawing discrepancies, non-conformances, and quality issues prior to drawing issuance.
• Ensure compliance with client-specific standards and specifications, including Shell Design Engineering Practice (DEP) requirements where applicable.
• Support project quality objectives by maintaining a high standard of drawing accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Requirements

• 15 years of experience preferred.
• Extensive experience reviewing piping isometrics against Shell DEP requirements is preferred.
• Experience supporting quality assurance activities for major Oil & Gas EPC projects is preferred.
• Experience using Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Direct S3D modelling experience is advantageous but not required.
