KMC Solutions in the Philippines is seeking a piping designer to work under the supervision of a piping lead, executing design tasks, 3D modeling, drawing generation, and field data collection in line with project standards.

You will interface with piping leads, perform CAD modeling, utilize AutoCAD and CADMATIC, and ensure drawings meet client requirements and GIS standards for accurate project delivery.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of industry related experience with 3 years of design experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and CADMATIC for 3D modeling and drawing production.
• Familiar with GIS and client standards and procedures.

About the Role

Designers at this level work under the general supervision of a piping lead to execute the duties and responsibilities listed below using the appropriate tools and established procedures. They are expected to communicate regularly with the piping lead responsible for providing directions and making decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design (minimal supervision)
• 3D Modeling
• Drawing generation, markup and cleanup
• Fieldwork (laser scanning and or hand sketches)
• Data input for lists. (Line, Tie-in, Drawing Index…)
• Familiar with and utilize GIS and client standards and procedures.
• General office work such as making copies, attending meetings etc.
• Performs pick-ups on drawing and documents as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industry related experience with 3 years of design experience.

Required Skills

• Can read and understand all standard deliverables.
• Experienced with utilizing design principles and routing techniques.
• Accustomed to utilizing pipe specs, engineering standards and common design practices.
• Proficient with current releases of AutoCAD.
• Proficient with 3D software, and 3D modeling specifically CADMATIC
• Proficient with Autodesk Recap software and Scan data.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel software
