About the Role

The Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM) at Boston Medical Center (BMC) is hiring a Vice Chair of Research for Clinical and Implementation Sciences to lead the department's research agenda and advance implementation science initiatives.

Department Overview

The Department of Medicine is located in Boston’s historic South End and is renowned for its teaching, research, and state‑of‑the‑art clinical care. It serves an urban, underserved population and partners with community health centers, the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, and other Boston institutions.

Training programs include a categorical residency (45 residents per year), a Preliminary Year Program, a Primary Care Training Program, a Research Track, seven Specialized Pathways, and fifteen clinical fellowships. Faculty and trainees provide care to a diverse patient population.

Compensation

Salary range: $250,000.00 – $450,000.00. Compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and departmental budget.
