Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Research Coordinator – Infectious Diseases to support NIH-funded studies in Boston, MA. The role involves participant recruitment, screening, enrollment, data collection and analysis, and ensuring ethical compliance with study protocols.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years in clinical research or public health; a Master’s degree in Public Health is preferred. Experience with REDCap and IRB submissions is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; Master’s in Public Health preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical research/public health experience; 3 years may be considered for Master’s.
• Experience with IRB submissions, data management, and grant writing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development of study protocols, ICFs, and SOPs.
• Develop data collection tools and validate REDCap-based systems.
• Create data management plans and ensure secure storage of data.
• Develop training materials and support study teams.
• Maintain ethics and regulatory compliance, including IRB submissions and amendments.
• Provide logistical support for workshop sites and study operations.
