Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience required.

• Time spent in residency or training does not qualify; this represents supervised practice.
• 5+ years of hands-on clinical experience in an independent practice setting or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in independent clinical practice and inpatient hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update clinical content through appraisal of information from medical literature; incorporate feedback from peer reviewers and clients for clinical accuracy.
• Perform Quality Assurance of clinical content and maintain clinical documentation.
• Serve as a clinical resource for internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Product Management, Product Owner, and Business Systems Analyst as needed.
• Develop project plans, monitor tasks, and ensure on-time delivery of clinical development projects.
• Participate in field research contributing to product advancement.
• Provide guidance and liaison for clinically related solutions involving technology across the enterprise.
• Comply with employment contracts and company policies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Utilizing the principles of evidence-based medicine (EBM), design, develop, and update clinical content through the appraisal and synthesis of information gathered from the medical literature Collect and incorporate feedback from external peer reviewers and clients to ensure clinical accuracy and usability
• Perform Quality Assurance of clinical content and create and maintain clinical documentation, as required.
• Serve as a clinical resource for both internal and external customers
• Collaborate with Product Development (PD), Product Management (PM), Product Owner (PO), and Business Systems Analyst (BSA) as needed
• Participate in developing project plans, monitoring tasks, and ensuring on-time delivery of clinical development projects
• Participate in field research that contributes to product advancement as needed
• Positions in this function provide guidance, leadership and serve as a liaison for clinically related solutions which involve technology as a component across the enterprise. These roles support clinically related short term and long term operational, product and/or technical solutions and strategies through guiding development, enhancements to improve end to end clinical process and systems decision making. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience required
• Licensed Physician
• Candidates must be board-certified or hold diplomate status in the applicable specialty, specifically Internal Medicine or its recognized medical subspecialties
• Time spent in residency or training programs does not qualify, as this represents supervised practice
• Clinical & Business Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on clinical experience in an independent practice setting or equivalent
  • Candidates must demonstrate direct patient care experience beyond formal education or clinical training programs
• 5+ years of experience in independent clinical practice and inpatient hospital settings

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree
• Experience in utilization management, case management, or the managed care industry

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

• Writing experience
• Project management experience
• Broad clinical exposure across varied practice settings, including Acute Care, Critical Care, Ambulatory Care, and Pediatrics
• Knowledge or experience in research methodologies and Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM)
• Familiarity with medical coding systems (e.g., ICD, CPT)
• Basic understanding of software development life cycles and technology-enabled workflows
• Proficiency in standard business software applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, well-supported clinical documentation and communicate effectively with expert physician panels
• Proven solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply logical, evidence-based decision-making
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams; detail-oriented with strong multitasking capabilities
