The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), as Delivery Partner of the Department of Finance (DOF), the National Designated Authority (NDA) to the Green Climate Fund (GCF), is implementing the Third Readiness and Preparatory Support Programme (RPSP 3), entitled "Strengthening Climate Finance Readiness in the Philippines through Institutional Capacity and Strategic Framework." The five-year programme aims to strengthen institutional capacity, improve strategic climate planning, develop an investment-ready climate finance pipeline, and enhance knowledge management and oversight systems to accelerate implementation of the Philippines' Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), National Adaptation Plan (NAP), and Long-Term Strategy (LTS).
As part of the implementation of RPSP 3, GGGI will engage an Individual Consultant to provide high-level technical and strategic support to the Department of Finance – International Finance Group (DOF-IFG) in strengthening institutional capacity for climate finance coordination, international finance operations, and oversight of climate-related investment programmes.
The Consultant will support the implementation of activities under Outcome 2.3 (Implementation, Financial Management, Monitoring and Reporting) and contribute to the effective coordination of climate finance initiatives under the RPSP 3. Specifically, the Consultant will support:
