Job summary

Global Green Growth Institute is seeking an Individual Consultant to strengthen climate finance capacity and coordinate international finance operations for the DOF-IFG in the Philippines. The role emphasizes project preparation, monitoring, policy guidance, and data management across multi-agency partnerships.

The consultant will deliver monthly reports, support ODA-funded infrastructure initiatives, and ensure alignment with climate finance strategies and GCF requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Public Administration, Business Administration, Engineering, International Development, or a related field.
• 3+ years in international finance, ODA, project prep/implementation, or related fields.
• Knowledge of international finance operations and public sector investment policies.
• Strong analytic, writing and communication skills for technical reports and policy papers.
• Strong coordination, facilitation and stakeholder engagement in multi-agency settings.
• Ability to translate complex technical info into actionable recommendations.
• Experience with MDBs or international development partners a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advisory on international finance operations and DOF-IFG coordination.
• Review, process, and facilitate IFG documents to ensure compliance and timelines.
• Coordinate with DOF units, agencies, partners for aligned priorities.
• Monitor timelines and deliverables of IFG initiatives.
• Support development of financial analyses and policy notes.
• Assist in ODA-funded infrastructure project preparation and monitoring.
• Support DOF-IFG database maintenance and data management.
• Contribute to policy development and strategic advisory for international finance.
• Ensure outputs align with GCF requirements and are suitable for institutional adoption.
