Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an Employment Counsel (Philippines) to provide practical, solutions-focused employment law advice for DXC operations in the Philippines. You will handle workplace investigations, regulatory compliance, and policies, while supporting transactions and cross-border matters within a global team.

The role requires admission to the Philippines bar, 5+ years in employment law, and strong communication skills to advise internal stakeholders and external parties across time

Qualifications

• Admitted as a legal practitioner in the Philippines.
• Current membership of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines with Good Standing.
• Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Laws degree.
• At least five years of relevant legal experience, including labor and employment law in the Philippines.
• Strong knowledge of Philippines employment law and regulatory requirements.
• Experience advising on a broad range of employment matters (employee relations, investigations, disputes, documentation).
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, legal research and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical, commercially focused advice.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, timely employment law advice for DXC operations in the Philippines.
• Draft, review and negotiate employment documents and policies.
• Support workplace investigations and complex employee relations matters.
• Manage employment disputes and litigation, including pleadings and mediations.
• Coordinate with external counsel and monitor legal fees within budgets.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance requirements and engage with regulators as needed.
• Develop, implement and review employment policies, templates and training materials.
• Support people aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.
