Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an Employment Counsel (Philippines) to provide practical, solutions-focused employment law advice in support of DXC’s Philippine operations. The role covers workplace investigations, regulatory compliance, and people-related commercial transactions.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Global Employment Law, People & Culture, and regional teams to drive policy development, training, and risk management across ASEAN and broader Asia Pacific regions.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Philippines as a legal practitioner.
• Current Integrated Bar of the Philippines member with a Good Standing certificate (or able to obtain).
• Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Laws degree.
• At least five years of relevant legal experience, including Philippines labor and employment matters.
• Strong knowledge of Philippines employment law and regulatory requirements.
• Experience advising on a broad range of employment matters, including employee relations and investigations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, legal research and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyse complex legal and business issues and provide practical, commercially focused advice.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple matters and stakeholders.
• Right to work in the Philippines; immigration sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, timely employment law advice on a broad range of matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate employment documents and related materials.
• Support workplace investigations, including sensitive employee relations issues.
• Manage employment disputes and litigation, including pleadings and mediations.
• Instruct and manage external counsel within approved budgets.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance requirements and engage with regulators when needed.
• Develop and review policies, processes, templates and training materials.
• Provide employment law support for mergers, acquisitions and related transactions.
• Collaborate with DXC stakeholders across Legal, People & Culture and business units.
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement necessary changes.
