Job summary

International Air Transport Association (IATA) in the Philippines seeks a seasoned leader to drive IATA’s regional agenda. You will guide the country team, nurture relationships with airlines and government, and promote IATA policies to stakeholders across aviation, finance and trade.

The role requires deep regional insight, exceptional communication, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional activities to strengthen the aviation sector in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Political Science or related discipline.
• 20+ years of professional experience.
• At least 5 years in a similar management role.
• Strong negotiation and lobbying skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Filipino.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and mentor the Philippines country team to deliver IATA’s agenda.
• Build and maintain relationships with airlines' senior management.
• Engage with government ministers and key legislators to advocate IATA policies.
• Monitor aviation-related activities and report to RLT with recommendations.
• Support business development of IATA products and services locally.
• Coordinate events and host visits from IATA leadership.
