Job summary

Gunam Super Speciality Hospital in Krishnagiri is seeking a Pharmacy In-Charge to oversee daily operations, procurement, storage, dispensing, and inventory control within the hospital pharmacy. You will supervise pharmacists and staff, ensure accurate dispensing against prescriptions, and coordinate with doctors for medication-related queries while monitoring stock levels and supplier performance.

This full-time role requires 2-5 years’ experience and a D.Pharm or B.Pharm with valid Pharmacy

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in pharmacy operations.
• Degree in pharmacy (D.Pharm or B.Pharm) with valid PC registration.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the hospital or healthcare pharmacy.

• Ensure storage of temperature-sensitive medicines.
• Maintain records related to controlled medicines as applicable.
• Monitor billing, purchases, and inventory transactions.
• Implement procedures to minimize medication errors and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, procurement, finance, and admin.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy and hospital regulations.
• Prepare pharmacy reports on stock, consumption, purchases, and wastage.
