Gunam Super Speciality Hospital in Krishnagiri is seeking a Pharmacy In-Charge to oversee daily operations, procurement, storage, dispensing, and inventory control within the hospital pharmacy. This full-time role requires 2-5 years’ experience and a D.Pharm or B.Pharm with valid Pharmacy

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in pharmacy operations.
  • Degree in pharmacy (D.Pharm or B.Pharm) with valid PC registration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the hospital or healthcare pharmacy.
  • Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and support staff.
  • Ensure medicines are dispensed accurately against prescriptions.
  • Verify prescriptions and clarify medication-related concerns with doctors.
  • Monitor procurement and replenishment of medicines and medical supplies.
  • Maintain stock levels based on consumption and requirements.

  • Ensure storage of temperature-sensitive medicines.

  • Monitor billing, purchases, and inventory transactions.
  • Implement procedures to minimize medication errors and discrepancies.

The Pharmacy In-Charge is responsible for managing day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring proper procurement, storage, dispensing, and inventory control of medicines, supervising pharmacy staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting safe and efficient medication services.
