Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in pharmacy operations.
• Degree in pharmacy (D.Pharm or B.Pharm) with valid PC registration.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the hospital or healthcare pharmacy.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and support staff.
• Ensure medicines are dispensed accurately against prescriptions.
• Verify prescriptions and clarify medication-related concerns with doctors.
• Monitor procurement and replenishment of medicines and medical supplies.
• Maintain stock levels based on consumption and requirements.
• Monitor expiry dates, batch numbers, and storage conditions.
• Ensure proper segregation and disposal of expired or damaged medicines.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy inventory and stock records.
• Conduct regular stock verification and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with approved vendors for procurement and deliveries.
• Evaluate supplier performance and delivery schedules.
• Ensure storage of temperature-sensitive medicines.
• Maintain records related to controlled medicines as applicable.
• Monitor billing, purchases, and inventory transactions.
• Implement procedures to minimize medication errors and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, procurement, finance, and admin.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy and hospital regulations.
• Prepare pharmacy reports on stock, consumption, purchases, and wastage.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
