Job summary

Phoenagon Trading Inc. in Mandaue City, Cebu, is hiring a Registered Pharmacist to join our Filipino-owned importing and retail operation. You will review prescriptions, dispense medications, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate records and stock.

Responsibilities

• Strictly adhere to and comply with Phoenagon's standard operating procedures.
• Review and execute physician's prescriptions, checking appropriateness and legality.
• Dispense prescription medications to patients and provide guidance on safe use.
• Ensure regulatory compliance by coordinating with DFA, DOH, and other authorities.
• Prepare and submit regular fulfillment and inventory reports for stock management and compliance.
• Manage and maintain drug and supply inventory and reordering.
• Ensure the quality of all drugs supplied by the company.
• Maintain accurate records for controlled substances.

Job Title: Registered Pharmacist

Previous experience with pharmaceutical importing and distribution is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative:

• Strictly adhere to and comply with Phoenagon's standard operating procedures.

• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness within the workplace at all times.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products, including indications, usage, and side effects, and ensure accurate pricing in accordance with company policies and market standards.

Dispensing Medications:

• Review and execute physician's prescriptions, checking the appropriateness and legality.

• Dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions.

Legal Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by coordinating with government agencies such as the DFA, DOH, and other relevant authorities regarding drug regulations and reporting.

Reporting:

• Prepare and submit regular fulfillment and inventory reports to ensure accurate stock management and regulatory compliance.

Inventory Management:

• Manage and maintain the drug and supply inventory.

• Keep track of inventory and reorder medicines based on demand.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure the quality of all drugs supplied by the company.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records for controlled substances as per regulatory requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in organization-wide activities and task forces that are relevant to Phoenagon's mission and vision.

• Maintain strict confidentiality of all records and documents containing patient information.

Qualifications:
