Robinsons Handyman Inc. Pet Pharmacy is seeking a Pet Pharmacy Assistant to support veterinarians and pharmacists in dispensing medications for animals and maintaining stock. You will label and organize medications, help with prescriptions, and assist customers with guidance while ensuring compliance with veterinary pharmacy regulations and safety standards.

The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and teamwork in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Licensed Pharmacist or NC-III in Pharmacy Services preferred.
Basic knowledge of veterinary medications is an asset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsabilités

Assist in preparing and dispensing prescription medications for pets under supervision.
Label, package, and organize medications accurately according to prescriptions.
Maintain inventory by receiving, stocking, and monitoring medication supplies and expiration dates.
Process prescription orders, refills, and customer transactions.
Answer customer inquiries regarding medication instructions and storage.
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy and storage areas.
Follow safety protocols and comply with regulations and company policies.
Coordinate with veterinarians and staff to ensure timely dispensing.
Assist with ordering medications and supplies from approved vendors.
