Job summary

PESTPROPH PEST MANAGEMENT in Manila is seeking a Pest Control Technical Specialist to help customers resolve infestation problems. You will identify pest species, determine effective treatments, and apply pesticides or manual solutions under safety guidelines.

Location is Manila, on-site. Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential; driving license is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or two-year vocational course
• Fresh graduates welcome; no pest control experience required
• Experience in pest control is an advantage but not required
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willing to undergo training and learn procedures; willing to use mobile apps

Responsibilities

• Determine the most effective treatment to eliminate or control a pest long-term
• Advise customers on treatments to eliminate or control pests
• Inspect premises to identify pest problems
• Fill out all necessary paperwork after each job
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly chemical usage and inventory forms
• Apply pesticides following label instructions and safety procedures
• Respond to customers' requests for pest control services
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional company services
• Determine the amount of chemical solution based on infested area size
• Wear complete company uniform and PPE on duty

About the role

Pest Control Technical Specialists help customers resolve their pest infestation problems. They identify the type of pest infesting homes, buildings, offices, and other structures and use either pesticides or manual solutions to get rid of them. The role reports directly to the Operations Department Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor and Quality Assurance Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Determine the kind of most effective treatment required to eliminate or control a particular type of pest, long-term

• Advise customers on the kind of treatment required to eliminate or control identified pests

• Inspect customers' premises to identify pest problems

• Fill out all necessary paperwork upon completion of each job

• Accomplish and submit on-time daily, weekly and monthly chemical consumption form and inventory

• Apply suitable pesticides to infested areas by following the label instructions and complying with safety procedures

• Respond to customers' requests for various pest control services

• Identify opportunities to sell additional company services

• Identify the right amount of chemical solution and volume according to the size of the infested areas

• Wear complete company uniform and proper PPE, especially during on-duty

About you

• High School Graduate or graduate of a two-year vocational course

• Fresh graduates and applicants without pest control experience are welcome to apply

• Experience in pest control is an advantage but not required

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
