Job summary

PESTPROPH PEST MANAGEMENT in Manila is seeking a Pest Control Technical Specialist to help customers resolve pest infestations. You will identify pests, determine the most effective treatments, and apply pesticides or manual methods following safety rules.

You will inspect premises, complete paperwork, manage chemical inventory, and look for opportunities to offer additional services. A uniform and proper PPE must be worn on duty.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pest control methods and common household pests.
• Ability to inspect premises and identify pest problems.
• Willingness to wear proper PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to advise customers on treatment options and safety considerations.

Responsibilities

• Determine the most effective treatment to eliminate or control pests.
• Advise customers on suitable treatments to eliminate pests.

• Complete all required paperwork after each job.
• Submit daily/weekly/monthly chemical consumption and inventory forms on time.

• Calculate chemical quantities based on infested area size.

About the role

Pest Control Technical Specialist help customers resolve their pest infestation problems. They identify the type of pest that is infesting homes, buildings, offices, and other structures and use either pesticides or manual solutions to get rid of them.

Key responsibilities

• Determines the kind of most effective treatment required to eliminate or control a particular type of pest, long-term
• Advises customers on the kind of treatment required to eliminate or control identified pests
• Inspects customers' premises to identify pest problems
• Fills out all necessary paperwork upon completion of each job
• Accomplishes and submits on-time daily, weekly and monthly chemical consumption form and inventory
• Applying suitable pesticides to infested areas by following the label instructions and complying with safety procedures
• Responding to customers' requests for various pest control services
• Identifying opportunities to sell additional company services
• Identifying the right amount of chemical solution and volume according to the size of the infested areas
• Knowledgeable of the technical aspects of the pest control industry, behavior and function of typical household pests and proper identification
