Job summary

LEC Steel Manufacturing Corp. in Manila is seeking students to assist with productivity studies, data gathering, and basic reporting. The role emphasizes learning and applying time-motion and quality concepts in a hands-on setting.

You will work in person at our Quezon City site, supporting lean initiatives, preparing simple analyses in Excel/Sheets, and helping communicate findings through PowerPoint and visuals.

Qualifications

• Industrial engineering students preferred to graduate this year or be in 4th year.
• Business Administration, HRM, Data Analytics or related fields encouraged.

Description / Qualification:

Educational Background

• College student of Industrial Engineering, preferably graduating within the current school year or 4th year level (preference)
• College students of Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Data Analytics or related fields

Work Experience

• Research or capstone project experience preferred

Industry & Technical Knowledge

• Familiar with Time-Motion Study, Lean Six Sigma or any other productivity improvement methodology
• Familiar with Pareto Analysis, Root Cause Analysis
• Familiarity with Quality Management System will be an advantage
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, formulas, tables, and charts.
• Familiarity with PowerPoint, Canva or similar presentation tools.
