People Relations Strategist

Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking a People Advocate for our PH Offices. This role acts as an advisor on employment laws, mediates employee disputes, and supports the HR Business Partners Group as an expert consultant on employee and labor relations.

The ideal candidate will work at both strategic and operational levels to manage various employee policies affecting people at work, conducting investigations, interviews, and policy reviews as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any specialization is required.
• Must have at least 3 years of work experience specializing in Human Resources or equivalent.
• Experience in Employee Labor Relations is a plus; LR for a BPO/Call Center exposure is a plus.
• Engagement and Partnership background is highly desired.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to complete work with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in a multi-tasked environment.
• Ability to support remote work for other Ubiquity PH Sites in relation to ELR concerns.
• Ability to work onsite and on a graveyard shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Acts as advisor on employment laws and mediates employee disputes.
• Represents the company on external mediation and supports HRBPs as an expert consultant on ER issues.
• Manage various employee policies at strategic and operational levels.
• Interviews employees to gather information for resolution of concerns.
• Conducts investigations or provides coaching resources as needed.
• Partners with Legal, HRBPs, managers to conduct impartial investigations.
• Reviews performance documentation for consistency and completeness.
• Analyzes ER case trends with HRBPs and provides recommendations.
• Keeps HR policies and processes updated and aligned with practice.
• Works with compliance, legal, HR, security, and other partners to foster trust.
