The Opportunity
We are partnering with an innovative semiconductor organisation developing advanced silicon solutions for high-performance applications. As part of ongoing growth, they are seeking a Senior or Lead PCB Architect to take ownership of complex hardware design initiatives and lead delivery from concept through to production.

The Role
In this position, you will lead the design and development of advanced PCB architectures, working closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver robust, market‑ready solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining PCB architecture based on input from multiple stakeholders
- Leading and mentoring a team of PCB design and layout engineers
- Designing and routing complex multi‑layer PCBs, including high‑speed interfaces such as PCIe and DDR/LPDDR
- Conducting signal and power integrity analysis using industry‑standard tools
- Managing designs involving high pin‑count devices, fine pitch components, and large packages
- Developing effective power distribution strategies for high‑frequency and high‑consumption devices
- Ensuring alignment with industry standards and form factors for compatibility
- Overseeing project documentation, revision control, and production tracking
- Collaborating with physical design and validation teams to ensure successful delivery
About You
To be successful in this role, you are likely to have:
- Significant experience in PCB design and architecture, ideally at senior or lead level
- Strong proficiency with professional PCB design tools such as Siemens, Cadence, or Altium
- Expertise in signal and power integrity analysis
- Experience designing complex multi‑layer boards with high-speed interfaces
- A solid understanding of industry standards and hardware design best practices
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
- A degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Fluency in English
Experience with certification or acceptance testing would be advantageous, though not essential.
