Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in Cavite is seeking a dedicated PCB Design Engineer to join our team.

You will design high-quality PCB layouts that meet tester requirements and the Business Unit’s methodologies, and you will prepare design documents and deliverables. You will review designs with a specified checklist, provide feedback, manage project schedules, and conduct incoming inspection on assigned projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering.
• 5+ years experience in PCB design.
• Proficient in schematic design and PCB layout.
• Knowledge of Altium Software preferred.
• Strong English communication and ability to work in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Produce/design high-quality PCB layouts adhering to tester requirements.
• Prepare and generate design documents and deliverables.
• Review PCB designs using the specified checklist and provide feedback.
• Conduct incoming inspection on assigned projects.
• Assign tasks, attend design reviews with HWE and project requestors.
• Ensure productivity, quality, and on-time performance.

Job Description:

• Produce/Design high quality PCB design that adheres to Tester requirement and Business Unit’s Specific methodology.
• Prepare and generate design documents and deliverables. Review PCB designs using the specified checklist.
• Provide design feedback to your peers. Create and communicate the schedule of the project.
• Conduct Incoming inspection on projects assigned.
• Assign/Delegate Task to team members Attend design review meeting with HWE and Project requestors.
• Activate and complete the tasks in a timely manner.
• Responsible for individual’s productivity, quality and on time performance to optimize project cycle time.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering.
• Preferably with 5+ years experience working with PCB design.
• Must be familiar with schematic design and PCB layout.
• Knowledge of PCB design using Altium Software is a preference.
• Must possess excellent English oral and written communication and can work in a Global Team.
