Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a PCB Designer II in Quezon City to join our engineering team. You will perform layout, schematic capture, and library creation for PCBs, focusing on high-density, high-frequency switch-mode power conversion.

You will collaborate with EEs, mechanical engineers, and vendors, and you should have a BS in ECE/EE/COE and 3+ years of relevant experience in power supply design. Proficiency with Cadence Allegro and Altium is required.

Qualifications

BS degree in ECE, EE and COE.
3+ years of PCB Layout, Schematics and Library Creation.
Experience with Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, SolidWorks, and CAM350.
Strong background in power supply design.
RF knowledge is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Handle layout, design and routing of PCBs.
Act on high-density, high-frequency PCB designs of moderate to high complexity switch-mode power conversion.
Work on low-wattage of few hundred Watts to high-wattage tens of kW power supply PCB Designs.
Work on layout of digital control boards.
Act as liaison to Advanced Engineering EE and Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering, Agency Compliance and PCB vendors.
Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
