Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Magnetics Engineer in Metro Manila to design magnetic assemblies for switching power supplies, considering manufacturability, quality, cost and performance. You will release BOMs and specifications, support inquiries, and coordinate with the factory to monitor builds.

You will collaborate with EE, PCAD, Mechanical, Safety, and Manufacturing teams, standardize magnetic parts, and contribute to knowledge transfer while documenting new magnetics technologies for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years relevant work experience in electrical and mechanical design engineering.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Knowledgeable on CAD program.
• Basic knowledge of 3D (Creo/SolidWorks) programs.
• Team player in a multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment with a strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide idea or concept of new/applicable transformer construction.
• Cross-functional work with EE, PCAD, Mechanical, Safety, Manufacturing during design conceptualization.
• Design Engineering Compliance and Factory support.
• Standardization and re-use of magnetic assemblies and parts.
• Magnetics Alternate Sourcing and Supplier Management Support.
• Prepare thorough documentation on new technologies around magnetics and design for manufacturability.
• Collaborate with Design Teams and ensure successful technology transfer.
