Job summary

ETS PRODUCTS PHILIPPINES INC. is seeking a seasoned electronics engineer to design, test, and optimize analog, digital, and power circuits.

You will create prototypes, evaluate components, and ensure compliance with CE/UL/ISO 26262 standards while collaborating with Mechanical, Software, and Manufacturing teams. The role requires strong PCB design experience, expertise in microcontrollers and embedded systems, and a track record in high-speed digital design and EMC considerations.

Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design analog, digital, and power circuits using engineering CAD software (E.G., Altium Designer, Eagle).
• Build and test initial hardware prototypes. Run diagnostic test, evaluate performance, and troubleshoot electrical or manufacturing issues.
• Optimize PCB designs for signal integrity, thermal performance, manufacturability, cost efficiency, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
• Evaluate component datasheets, select parts, and build bills for materials (BOMs). Address supply chain and component obsolescence.
• Write code for microcontrollers, microprocessors, or FPGA s to interface with hardware components.
• Create manufacturing documentation, user manuals, and technical reports. Ensure designs comply with regulations (e.g., CE,UL, ISO 26262).
• Understanding of microcontrollers, embedded systems, power management (ADCs, DACs, power converters), and high-speed digital design.
• Strong analytical skills for debugging circuits and conducting root-cause failure analysis.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams alongside Mechanical Engineers, Software Developers, and Manufacturing teams.
• Keen attention to details and accuracy
• Clear reporting of issues and collaboration with other departments

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) years of continuous hands-on experience with PCB design tools and simulation software (e.g., SPICE, Mathcad, Altium).
• Solid understanding of microcontrollers, embedded systems, power management (ADCs, DACs, power converters), and high-speed digital design.
• Able to communicate fluent in Filipino & English, both written and verbal.
