Job summary

Bold Business is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with Philippine payroll regulations. The role requires an eye for detail, at least 2 years PH payroll experience, and proficiency with payroll software and Office tools.

You will work with HR and Finance to resolve queries and run regular payroll, adjustments, and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 2+ years of PH payroll experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PH payroll tax laws and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Collect and verify employee timesheets and changes to compensation.
• Recognize and resolve discrepancies in payroll transactions.
• Review timesheets and attendance records submitted by HR Timekeeper.
• Communicate payroll queries to employees via ticket system with HR and Finance.
• Serve as main payroll contact and work with Finance.
• Manage payroll adjustments, retro pay, and off-cycle runs.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Specialist plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees. With a strong attention to detail and knowledge of payroll regulations, this individual will manage all aspects of payroll administration while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect and verify employee timesheets, attendance records, and changes to compensation (e.g., new hires, salary adjustments, terminations)


• Recognize and resolve discrepancies in payroll transactions.


• Review employee timesheets and attendance records submitted by the HR Timekeeper


• Communication with employees for timely resolution of all queries directed to HR and Finance via the ticket tool system


• Serve as the main point of contact for any inquiries related to payroll, working closely with the Finance team


• Manage payroll adjustments, retro pay calculations, and off-cycle payroll runs as needed.


• Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll tax laws, regulations, and best practices


• Update and maintain accurate payroll records within the payroll system, ensuring data integrity and security.


• Create reports as necessary for the team


• Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).


• At least 2 years of experience in PH payroll and benefits processing


• Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax laws, and regulations.


• High ethical standards and ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality


• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office & Google Suite.


• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.


• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
