QBE Group Shared Services Centre in the Philippines seeks a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll delivery, ensuring statutory compliance and accurate file processing across the organization.

The role partners with payroll vendors, manages employee data changes, supports audits, and produces reports while delivering responsive, accurate service to employees and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience with payroll processing and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Partner with payroll vendors to process bi-weekly payroll and system changes following procedures to ensure data is timely, accurate, complete and compliant.
• Ensure time entry is accurate and approvals are maintained for payroll processing.
• Ensure employee data changes (new hires, terminations, direct deposits, tax elections) are complete and accurate for payroll processing.
• Administer pay and deduction related inputs in partnership with payroll vendors.
• Assist with audits and review audit reports for completeness and accuracy; resolve errors.
• Create and maintain payroll reports and analyze data for discrepancies and root causes.
• Provide customer service by researching employee inquiries and delivering timely resolutions.
• Escalate issues as needed and communicate with internal customers to drive improvements.
• Streamline processes to increase productivity and resource efficiency.
• Handle payroll tax matters including notices, registrations, and year-end processing.
