Responsibilities

• Collect and check timesheets, attendance logs, and leave records for accuracy.
• Compute regular hours, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
• Enter hours and data into payroll software to release direct deposits or checks.
• Update employee files with new hires, promotions, salary changes, and terminations.
• Calculate correct local taxes, government withholdings, and benefit deductions.
• Answer staff questions regarding paychecks, payslips, and deductions.
• Investigate and fix payment errors or missing time records.
• Prepare summary reports on payroll costs and liabilities for management.
