Private Advertiser is seeking a Payroll Associate to oversee timely payroll processing, ensure accurate timekeeping, and manage statutory deductions. The role emphasizes confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance with labor regulations while coordinating with departments to resolve discrepancies.

The successful candidate will handle final pay for separated employees, generate payroll reports, and support audits, contributing to overall payroll integrity and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process employee payroll accurately and within established deadlines.
• Review and validate timekeeping records, attendance, overtime, undertime, absences, and other payroll adjustments.
• Compute salaries, wages, allowances, deductions, and other employee compensation.
• Prepare payroll summaries, reports, and other supporting documents.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee concerns.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of payroll information.
• Monitor and verify employee attendance and timekeeping records.
• Coordinate with departments and supervisors regarding attendance discrepancies.
• Document approved overtime, leaves, and other attendance adjustments.
• Maintain accurate and updated timekeeping records.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of statutory contributions and deductions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, withholding tax).
• Ensure accuracy of employee deductions and payroll-related remittances.
• Maintain records and supporting documents for government contributions and statutory requirements.
• Assist in the computation and processing of final pay for separated employees.
• Process payroll adjustments, salary deductions, and other authorized transactions.
• Ensure final pay computations are supported by accurate records and approvals.
• Maintain organized payroll records and employee files.
• Prepare payroll reports and other documents required by management.
• Assist in payroll audits and provide supporting documents as needed.
• Perform other payroll-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
