Job summary

IntouchCX is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll for employees in the Philippines and Malaysia. The role drives governance, process improvements, and efficient payroll operations while coordinating with HR, Finance, Tax, and external vendors.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of payroll experience including multi-country management, and holds a CPA/CPP or equivalent certification. Strong Excel and HRIS skills (Dayforce, NetSuite, Oracle) are essential.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of payroll experience, including multi-country payroll management.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• CPA/CPP or equivalent certification is required.
• Experience in Shared Services, BPO, or multinational organizations.
• Expertise in Philippines and Malaysia payroll legislation and compliance.
• Strong vendor management and oversight of outsourced payroll environments.
• Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems Dayforce, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proven leadership and people development abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end payroll processing for Philippines and Malaysia.

About the role

The Payroll Manager leads and manages end-to-end payroll operations for employees in the Philippines and Malaysia. The role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements, while driving payroll governance, process improvements, and operational efficiency. The Payroll Manager partners closely with Human Resources, Finance, Tax, and external payroll vendors to deliver high-quality payroll services across multiple jurisdictions. The payroll function drives the implementation of systems, controls, and process improvements to enhance the accuracy, confidentiality, and efficiency of payroll operations, and to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end payroll processing

• Manage payroll calendars, statutory contributions, tax filings, and ensure compliance with Philippine and Malaysian Labor Code requirements and government regulations
• Administer employee benefits, allowances, and reimbursements
• Ensure accurate final pay and off-cycle payroll processing
• Maintain secure payroll records and reporting systems, while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
• Address and investigate payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
• Implement, manage, and continuously improve payroll systems, controls, and automation to drive operational efficiency
• Manage year-end payroll activities, including tax reporting and annualization

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 7-10 years of payroll experience, including multi-country payroll management
• At least 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), or equivalent certification
• Shared Services, BPO, or multinational organization experience
• Expertise in Philippines and Malaysia payroll legislation, labor laws, and statutory compliance requirements
• Strong vendor management and third-party oversight skills with experience managing outsourced payroll environments
• Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems such as Dayforce, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar platforms
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proven leadership and people development abilities
