Job summary

Recruitify_HR in Makati, Metro Manila is seeking an Accounting and Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll, ensure compliance with Philippine labor and tax regulations, and maintain accurate financial records. You will collaborate with the Accounting team to maintain GL accuracy and government reporting.

The role requires 2–3 years of payroll experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of payroll software/ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on full-cycle payroll processing experience.
• In-depth understanding of Philippine Labor Code, BIR tax computations, and government regulations (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with payroll software/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll cycles accurately and timely.
• Prepare, reconcile, and file monthly/annual payroll taxes and statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR 1601-C / 2316).
• Reconcile General Ledger and post payroll journal entries; assist monthly GL balance sheet reconciliations.
