Job summary

Henkel Philippines is seeking a General Accounting Analyst (Payroll & Benefits) to ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll-related financial records. You will collaborate across payroll, benefits, and accounting in a dynamic shared services environment to support reliable reporting and strong controls.

Responsibilities include month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support, with a background in Accountancy, SAP, and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy-related fields required.
CPA licensure highly preferred.
At least 3 years’ experience in General Accounting, Auditing, or related Finance roles in a multinational/SSC environment; Payroll accounting experience is required.
Proficiency in intermediate Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, pivot tables) and SAP; Macros and VBA preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Must be results‑oriented, deadline‑driven, proactive, detail‑oriented with strong collaboration and stakeholder management.
Willing to work day shift (7:00 AM–4:00 PM) and at least five night shifts (8:00 PM–5:00 AM) for closing; ten days for quarter‑end closing.

Responsibilities

Perform daily and monthly General Accounting tasks per SLA and resolve inquiries promptly.
Ensure timely month-end activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
Complete and submit required reports accurately.
Support internal and external audit with timely audit schedules.
Support team objectives and drive process improvements.
