Job summary

Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is seeking a skilled Fraud Analyst to join our Payments, Risk, and Fraud Operations team in Metro Manila.

You will detect, investigate, and mitigate fraud across a two-sided marketplace platform, working with product, engineering, and customer operations to protect merchants, buyers, and customers. The role emphasizes leading investigations into payment fraud, account takeover, and identity abuse, developing and tuning detection rules, querying data, and contributing

Qualifications

• Experience at an e-commerce SaaS platform or website builder.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts as applied to fraud scoring and anomaly detection.
• Certifications such as CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) or equivalent.
• Experience writing fraud policy or contributing to cross-functional risk committees.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate suspicious transactions, accounts, and activity patterns.
• Lead end-to-end fraud investigations related to payment fraud, account takeover (ATO), and identity abuse.
• Work with Revenue Operations to reduce disputes related to missed fraudulent activity.
• Develop, test, and tune fraud detection rules and models.
• Respond and resolve customer escalations related to fraud/risk and partner with Customer Operations to improve workflow processes.
• Query internal databases and data pipelines to surface fraud trends, anomalies, and emerging threat vectors.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to enhance investigation efficiency and fraud signal detection.
• Contribute to fraud policy documentation, internal playbooks, and cross-functional training materials.
