Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or two years of college coursework or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 1+ year in customer service, call center, or healthcare administrative settings; healthcare accounts preferred.
• Communication: strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Data & Calculations: basic numerical calculations for billing, reconciliation, and balance inquiries.
• Technical Skills: proficiency in email, EMR/billing platforms, and standard office tools.
• Work Ethic & Autonomy: detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, maintains confidentiality.
• Availability: flexible schedule as needed.

Responsabilités

• Inbound Patient Support: answer calls promptly with empathy and professionalism.
• Account Resolution & Collections: handle billing inquiries, clarify payments, arrange payments, reconcile accounts.
• Coordination of Care & Information: liaise between patients, families, medical staff and admin teams.
• Regulatory Compliance: protect PHI and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Operational Reliability: meet performance metrics and attendance standards.
• General Administration: perform related clerical duties to support workflows.
