Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim Philippines Inc. is seeking a Patient Safety Manager to shape the local pharmacovigilance agenda in the Philippines. You will ensure robust PV systems, regulatory compliance and patient safety for patients and clinical trial participants.

Lead the PSPV function, collaborate with health authorities and internal stakeholders, and drive risk-based decision-making in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong leadership and a patient-centric mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics or related healthcare field.
• 3–5 years PV experience including team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of PV regulations (global/regional/local) and GxP.
• Understanding of drug development processes and PV systems.
• Proven ability to lead, influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape the PSPV strategy aligned with global standards.
• Serve as Local QPPV and primary contact for authorities, inspections and PV matters.
• Ensure local PV regulatory compliance and adherence to MA requirements.
• Establish and maintain an effective local PV system to safeguard safety.
• Drive PV awareness and culture across the organization through collaboration.
• Manage local PSPV team and ensure business continuity and operational excellence.
• Oversee AE reporting, PV submissions, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Manage local PV agreements, training, audits, inspections and contingency planning.
