Open Innovation Inc. is seeking a motivated Accounting Intern based in Metro Manila. This part-time role supports daily bookkeeping, data entry, and routine financial tasks to develop foundational skills in financial record-keeping and reporting.

The internship offers hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment, mentorship from experienced staff, and flexible scheduling to accommodate studies while building practical industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is desirable.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accounting, finance, or business-related degree programme.
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
• Reliable and professional attitude with a commitment to meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Supporting the reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Entering financial data into accounting software and systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assisting with the preparation of trial balances and financial statements.
• Organising and filing financial documents and supporting records.
• Assisting with the preparation of invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation.
• Assisting with general bookkeeping tasks and clerical duties as assigned.
• Communicating with colleagues and supervisors regarding accounting matters and queries.
