About the role

We are seeking a Paralegal - Assistant Supervisor to join GCCS and Associates Corporation in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to combine hands‑on paralegal expertise with supervisory responsibilities. As Assistant Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our legal operations, ensuring efficient case management, and mentoring junior paralegal staff. This position is crucial to maintaining the highest standards of client service and operational excellence within our legal practice.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive paralegal support to attorneys, including legal research, document preparation, and case file management
  • Assist in the preparation of legal pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence for submission to courts and relevant authorities
  • Manage and maintain client files, ensuring proper organisation, confidentiality, and compliance with firm procedures
  • Conduct legal research using various resources and present findings to supervising attorneys in a clear and concise manner
  • Supervise and mentor junior paralegal and administrative staff, providing guidance on paralegal procedures and best practices
  • Monitor workload distribution among paralegal team members and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
  • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to facilitate smooth case progression
  • Maintain awareness of court rules, filing deadlines, and procedural requirements to ensure compliance
  • Assist with client intake and billing administration as required
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of paralegal processes and procedures within the firm
What we’re looking for
  • A recognised paralegal qualification or certification from an accredited institution, or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience working as a paralegal in a legal practice or corporate legal environment
  • Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience, including the ability to motivate and guide junior staff
  • Strong knowledge of legal procedures, court rules, and filing requirements in the Philippines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal information clearly
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with legal databases and resources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all work products
  • Professional discretion and ability to maintain client confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment whilst maintaining independent judgment
  • Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to handle complex administrative and legal matters
