Paralegal Assistant
Rigging Corporation is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal Assistant to provide administrative and legal support, maintain documentation, and assist with the preparation and coordination of legal and company-related requirements.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and clerical support to the legal and management teams.
Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining legal documents, contracts, agreements, and correspondence.
Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and proper filing.
Maintain organized and confidential physical and electronic legal records.
Assist in preparing documents for permits, licenses, registrations, and other regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with government agencies, clients, suppliers, and other external parties when necessary.
Assist in monitoring contracts, deadlines, renewals, and other legal or compliance requirements.
Conduct basic legal and regulatory research as assigned.
Prepare reports, letters, notices, and other business-related documents.
Assist in gathering and organizing documents needed for legal cases, claims, and other company matters.
Coordinate with different departments to obtain necessary records and supporting documents.
Assist with documentation related to logistics, transportation, deliveries, and other operational matters when needed.
Maintain strict confidentiality of legal, employee, client, and company information.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous experience as a Paralegal Assistant, Legal Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role is an advantage.
Strong organizational and document management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
Basic knowledge of legal documents, contracts, and business compliance requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Able to conduct basic research and prepare professional correspondence.
Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
Able to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Background or experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations is a strong advantage.
