GrowthAssistant, LLC is seeking a Paid Ads Video Editor to own the editing and post-production of our paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. You’ll transform raw footage into high-converting ads, managing variations and ensuring brand-consistent visuals.

You’ll work remotely and collaborate with the Growth team to optimize hooks, pacing, captions, and aspect ratios for peak performance. You’ll operate on US Eastern Time business hours, with a fast turnaround for high-volume

• Performance-Driven Iteration: Translate learnings on watch time, hook rate, CTR, ROAS into sharper edits.
• Post-Production Craft: Own the full edit including pacing, sound, captions, motion graphics, and color correction.

The Opportunity

We're hiring a Paid Ads Video Editor for the #1 brand of nicotine-free functional pouches — owning the editing and post-production of the video creative that powers the paid social engine, turning raw UGC footage, creator content, and product shots into high-converting ads for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

• Paid Social Ad Editing: Edit high-performing video ads for Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other paid channels, including UGC testimonials, mashups, reaction edits, green-screen formats, and creator-led storytelling.
• Structured Variation Testing: Cut multiple hook, body, and CTA variations from a single shoot or asset batch to feed structured creative testing.
• Performance-Driven Iteration: Partner with Growth to understand what's working and why — watch time, hook rate, CTR, ROAS — and translate learnings into sharper edits, rapidly turning around new hooks, pacing, captions, and aspect ratios on winning concepts.
• Post-Production Craft: Own the full edit — cutting, pacing, sound design, music selection, captions/subtitles, motion text, and light motion graphics — while coloring and cleaning up raw UGC footage so it feels authentic but premium.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure every edit is on-brand, so the brand's visual identity, tone, and quality bar carry through even the scrappiest UGC ad.
• Workflow & Asset Management: Manage review cycles in Frame.io, keep project files and exports organized, and deliver final assets in the correct specs and aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9) for each platform and placement.
• Trend Awareness: Stay current on paid social trends, native formats, and platform best practices so creative always feels fresh, not templated.

What You Bring

• Paid Social Editing Experience: 2+ years of experience editing paid social ads — you know the difference between an edit that looks good and an edit that converts.
• UGC & Direct-Response Formats: Experience producing UGC testimonials, UGC mashups, and other direct-response formats for DTC or consumer brands.
• Tool Proficiency: Proficient in both CapCut and Adobe tools (Premiere Pro and After Effects), and comfortable working in Frame.io for reviews, feedback, and versioning.
• Communication: Proficient in English — written and spoken — and able to take briefs, give updates, and collaborate clearly.
• Speed & Craft: Fast without being sloppy — able to handle high volume and quick turnarounds while holding a high bar for craft.
• Performance Mindset: Thinks in hooks, pacing, and retention — not just transitions and effects — and takes feedback well, iterating without ego.
• Schedule: Willing and able to work US Eastern Time (New York) business hours, full-time.

Sign-on Bonus: $300 bonus upon successful completion of the first 90 days of employment
