GrowthAssistant is seeking a Performance UGC Video Editor & Motion Designer (Paid Social) to join a fast-growing DTC brand. You will edit UGC-style performance ads for Meta and design motion graphics that read as native content, following briefs exactly.

This hybrid role requires strong After Effects skills and a portfolio showing both editing and motion, with the ability to produce a high volume of ad variations and precise QA.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of paid social ads you edited and animated.
• Proficient in After Effects or similar; experience with Premiere Pro or CapCut.
• Motion-sensibility focused on performance and clarity.
• Fluency in paid social language; attention to brand spelling, copy, captions, and assets.

The Opportunity

We're hiring a Performance UGC Video Editor & Motion Designer (Paid Social) to join a fast-growing DTC consumer brand in the personal care and lifestyle space - editing UGC-style performance ads for Meta from strategist briefs while also designing and animating motion graphics that layer over UGC footage to produce polished creative that still reads as native. You'll execute briefs exactly as written, build inside established Meta safe-zone templates so animated text is never cropped, run a QA checklist on every cut, and maintain a high volume of ad variations without letting quality slip. This hybrid role requires both performance-ad editing instincts and genuine After Effects motion design skill - and a portfolio demonstrating both is required for consideration.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

• UGC Ad Editing from Brief: Edit UGC-style performance ads for Meta from strategist briefs - executing hook, cuts, pacing, on-screen copy, captions, and music exactly as directed; paste copy word for word, hit called-out timestamps, and follow all highlighted direction without interpretation drift.
• Motion Graphics Design & Animation: Design and animate motion graphics for paid ads - including kinetic headlines, animated callouts, product reveals, and end cards; layer motion over UGC footage to produce polished performance creative that still reads as native social content.
• Safe-Zone Template Execution & QA: Build inside established Meta safe-zone templates so animated text and key elements are never cropped; run the QA checklist on every cut before delivery; apply revisions from timestamped notes in a single revision round.
• High-volume Production & Collaboration: Keep a high volume of ad variations moving without quality slipping; post status, ETAs, and blockers daily in Slack so the strategy team always has clear visibility on the pipeline.

What You Bring

• Portfolio of UGC Editing & Motion Work: A portfolio of paid social ads you personally edited and animated, demonstrating both UGC performance editing and motion graphics - both components are required; a portfolio showing only one will not be considered.
• After Effects & Editing Suite Proficiency: Proficient in After Effects or a comparable motion graphics tool, plus a professional editing suite such as Premiere Pro or CapCut - comfortable using both in the same production workflow.
• Performance-Ad Motion Sensibility: Motion design instincts oriented toward attention and clarity, not decoration - you design motion that serves the ad's performance goal, not your personal creative taste.
• Paid Social Fluency & Detail Orientation: Native fluency in the language of paid social - understands 'negative space', 'slow zoom', and 'hook in two seconds' without explanation; meticulous about correct brand spelling, exact copy, captions, audio, Meta safe zones, and music licensing on every export.
• Volume Comfort & Feedback Receptivity: Fast, reliable turnaround in a high-volume environment; takes candid, timestamped feedback and applies it the first time - no re-explaining, no re-revision cycles from the same note.

Bonus Points if:

• You have 3D animation experience in Blender, Cinema 4D, or a comparable tool.
• You are bilingual in English and Spanish.

Sign-on Bonus: $300 bonus upon successful completion of the first 90 days of employment
